Food has always been more than just cooking and nourishment for Ebube. It is identity, love, responsibility, and culture passed down through generations. As a first daughter, she naturally stepped into the kitchen early, learning not just how to cook, but how to care for people through food.
Today, Ebube is the Founder of Bubiz Delish, a UK-based Nigerian food brand dedicated to delivering authentic Igbo meals with consistency, quality, and a true taste of home.
Her journey began in 2013 while studying at Coventry University in the United Kingdom, where she started cooking for her fellow students who missed home-cooked Nigerian meals. What started as a simple act of care quickly grew into something bigger, as more people began to request her food. Over time, she gained further experience by supporting local restaurants, building both her confidence and understanding of the food business.
In the early days, Bubiz Delish combined catering with event planning and décor. However, with time and clarity, Ebube made the intentional decision to focus fully on what she does best, authentic Nigerian and Igbo cuisine.
Today, Bubiz Delish is known for its rich and traditional dishes such as Abacha, Isiewu, Nkwobi, Ugba, and a variety of rich soups. Every meal is prepared with care, using traditional recipes that bring comfort, nostalgia, and satisfaction to customers across the UK.
What sets Ebube apart is the strong structure behind her passion. With a background in Statistics, Human Resources, and Data Science, and currently working as a Data Scientist within the NHS, she applies discipline, analytical thinking, organisation, and operational precision to every aspect of her business. From food preparation to customer experience and scalability, everything is done with intention and consistency.
This commitment to excellence is reflected in her standards. Bubiz Delish proudly holds a 5- star UK Food Hygiene Rating, demonstrating a high level of food safety, cleanliness, and professionalism. The business also operates in line with recognised food safety practices and relevant certifications, ensuring that every meal is not only delicious but prepared to the highest standards.
Beyond business, Ebube is a mother of three young children. Balancing motherhood, a professional career, and entrepreneurship is not always easy, but her journey is a true reflection of strength, resilience, and determination. She represents many women in the diaspora who are building something meaningful while caring for their families.
At its heart, Bubiz Delish is more than a food business. It is culture, identity, and connection. It is about giving people that feeling of home, even when they are miles away.
As the brand continues to grow, Ebube remains focused on delivering authentic food, maintaining high standards, and creating lasting experiences through every meal she serves.
